Fifth International Art Ceramics Biennial of Vallauris, 5th, 1976. The Biennials were a veritable breeding ground where all the ceramic cultures of the world were expressed, at the invitation of the city of Vallauris. Many young talents of the time, having participated in the Biennials, have today become big names in international ceramics: like Yves Mohy, Bernard Dejonghe, Roger Capron, Jean Derval, Gilbert Portanier, Roger Collet, Alexandre Kostanda, Jean -Paul Van Lith, Olivier Roy. Among the foreign ceramists, in addition to Osamu Suzuki, let us quote Edouard Chapallaz, Tony Franks, Carlos Carlé, Janet Mansfield, Setsuko Nagasawa.
